Scope
What is included in any piece of work is whatever is written in the quote you agreed to. Anything not written there is not included, which protects both of us — ask and we will add it rather than assume.
Payment
Build work is invoiced on completion, after you have seen the finished site and said you are happy with it. Monthly services are billed monthly in advance. Fees already paid for a completed month are not refunded.
Ownership
You own your domain, registered in your name with you as the account owner. You own the content, the photographs you supply, and the site we build. If we stop working together you keep all of it. We take nothing and delete nothing.
Ending it
Either of us may end a monthly service with thirty days' written notice. No minimum term and no cancellation fee.
What we need from you
- Accurate information, and notice when it changes — prices, hours, staff, services
- Replies within a few days on anything waiting for your approval
- Photographs and text you actually have the right to use
What we will not do
- Write, buy or solicit reviews, or ask anyone for a specific rating
- Publish claims, credentials, offers or prices you have not given us
- Publish results figures we cannot show you the source of
- Register your domain in our name
Honest limits
We do not control Google. Rankings move for reasons nobody outside Google can see, and a competitor opening closer to a searcher can outrank you through no fault of either of us. We promise the work, not a position: a site and a profile that are complete, accurate, fast and maintained, which is the part that is actually within anyone's control.
Liability
Our liability for any piece of work is limited to what you paid us for it. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
